Watch out you don't pay twice

In March this year I converted my DSTV subscription from monthly to annual (pay a year in advance). At the same time I cancelled my debit order with Multichoice. All went fine until July when Multichoice debited my account with R1600.07. When I phone to complain I was told that I still owed Multichoice more money, that I couldn't speak to the accounts dept and if I didn't pay my service would be cut off. Eventually I was \allowed"to speak to a supervisor who promise to get back to me by the end of the day. He never did. A few days later I phoned again and I was again promised that I would be phoned back. Again I was not phoned back. Fed up with wasting cell phone time (I had now spent over 40 minutes on the phone to get nowhere). I tried e-mailing their customer care and I was told they could not read the attachment on my e-mail. I had simply forwarded their confirmation of my annual subscrition (Multichoice's e-mail). Eventually I got a reply back saying simply a cheque would be processed in somewhere between 7 and 40 days. I find this unacceptable - no apology for \""*****ing\"" money out of my account and why should I wait up to 2 months to get my money back? """
