WALKA Discontinued

A bit disappointed that DSTV didn't inform the "small" amount of subscribers that they will be discontinuing the WALKA range. I found out over the weekend, as I have been having issues with the E19-4 error code, that they are busying taking the towers down.

Thanks a lot for thinking the subscribers with WALKA's are not important.

Good day Rupert Thank you for your response. Thank you for escalating it to the relevant department. I would like to know, when the Walka's signal is no more, what alternative do I have, as a DSTV subscriber? Please refrain from telling me I need to purchase a HD standard decoder or Explorer. DSTV has to think of a package similar to what the Walka provided me, as that suited my needs. Regards Ian

Good day This is getting ridiculous now. I received a response on the 29th August...and nothing since. Not even a telephone call to find out more information. All I want to know is, what options are you going to offer me, once the Walks signal is no longer in existence? My service is still disrupted, getting not signal at all, previous, there was no issue with signal in the area I live. Can someone please let me know what is going on!

Hello Hello Hello Is someone going to come back to me explaining what is going on. It is the 21st September, not 1 phone call from DSTV. Clearly they don't care about the subscribers with WALKA's, yet they are happy still deducting my account with the subscription fee every month..
