Vision-less, Hopeless and Helpless!!!
My services often get disconnected and when I contact customer support I'm always guided to switch my decoder off, disconnect it and then plug it back in. This process does seem to help. So, on a couple of occasions I left the decoder off for a few days and then it magically came back on all by itself. When I contacted the call centre again to inform them of this I'm told bad weather might be responsible for this but I must get a technician to check it out. I feel like these agents are grasping at straws and somehow think we are fools, because how is it that the one minute my TV is working just fine and the next I need to send the decoder in to be checked? I've had 3 different technicians come out to check it and they can't find anything wrong. My question to DSTV is the following: Is it fair for me to pay my monthly subscription, remaining a loyal customer to you and not receive proper service? I demand better answers with regards to why my TV signal is poor.

1. My decoder is not older than 1 year
2. I have not experienced any bad weather during this period
3. It's improbable that the cables would be working fine the one minute and then all of a sudden get "worn-out" to a point that a technician will need to see to it. So now you recommend that I spend more money for a service that I'm currently not receiving? Or do all these recommendations come free??
