Very unhappy DSTV customer. I was forced to give 1 star.

Dstv Installations and Repairs - Elardus Park. I called this business early morning and asked them to visit us due remote TV's not getting signal. Please keep in mind both Decoders and all 4 remotes was working fine. The came and fixed issue but I had to help as the installer was unable to sort out the issue. Then they had to redo all the remotes and all the TV's after replacing a DC Slitter for R950. The rest of the bill looks like this. Call out R350 (normally waived when letting them do the job) Remote Control Settings (Labour) R400, TV points Securing (Labour) R750 Labour R799 This is a total of R3249.00 of witch Labour alone was R1949.00. Keep in mind they where here for 2 hour and their office told me they charge R375 per hour. This is a major Ripoff. I understand that we all have to make money but this ripoff is uncalled for and I will make sure everyone I know will not use them ever again. PS they took the "broken" splitter off site without my knowledge. So now I think it might not even be broken and they took it with for future use.
