Using DStv Explora Ultra as an internet decoder for services.

Trying to get information out of DStv is tiresome. I have had a DStv premium package for years, fed by the satellite dish on the roof of our house. I have tried to find out if I can switch to the Premium Package using only the internet and continuing to use my DStv Explora Ultra, but I don't get straight answers. It's not rocket science. Can I use the explora, which is already connected to the internet, as my primary decoder to receive DStv as well as Netflix and Amazon Prime, which is what I do at present. A simple question, but tryying to get a straight answer from DStv is like trying to pull teeth out of a chicken's mouth! But I assume that they don't want to answeras it would mean that a lot of current premium subscribers would change and they would lose revenue.
