Useless Call Centre Service from DSTV. Faceless and Rude.

The inbound call centre is have *********** staff that cannot fix a simple on screen error that is one which cannot be done using the whats App system. I phoned 3 times on Friday and each time had a different call agent who said that they did nor know why the error was nor clearing. Must be a system problem they all said. I was phoning from a cell phone and each call lasted longer than 20 minutes and I was told that I had to speak to the Manager and then the call goes to music on hold. Stupidly I waited about 10 mins and then hung up. The problem was that I activated my Holiday Home Decoder using the Whats App system which seems to work well. The problem is that it activates but limits the use of the Explora Decoder and needs a call to the Call Centre to sort out the error 102-29 which allows Pause, record and watch items previously recorded. My grip is that on each occasion when it could not be sorted that they cannot call back when fixed as they are only a In Bound Centre. What Garbage is that. The cost to me was over R200 in telephone costs and the problem was not sorted out. They need to jack up their Call Centre staff and processes and have a call back facility.

Thank you for your partial response. I took took the decoder into your Umhlonga Service Centre and the eye to eye agent realised immediately that the PVR function had not been properly linked when the Explora was originally set up for the Holiday Home. After I told them that the inbound call centre just gave me the run around costing me over 1 hour in cell phone costs, they could not understand why they could not fix it.
You have not said anything about how the Inbound Call Centre cannot take the callers phone number and rather have the Supervisor phone the customer back in stead of them getting transferred to indefinite Music on Hold.
