Good day DStv MultiChoice Team, I require an urgent response and resolution to the matter outlined below. In late December 2025, I contacted MultiChoice on *** and spoke with a consultant regarding an amount of R760 that was deducted from my bank account. Based on my understanding and previous agreement, my account was still on the Price Lock plan, with an agreed monthly amount of R598. This can be verified with your administrative records. Upon reviewing my banking application, I noted that an amount of R760 was deducted in December 2025 without my prior knowledge or authorisation. When I queried this with the consultant, I was advised that I was no longer on the Price Lock plan and that MultiChoice had therefore deducted that amount. I queried as why I was not contacted or informed prior to this debit being processed, as I did not provide consent for this amount to be deducted from my account. Furthermore, if my Price Lock had indeed expired, I would like to understand why I was not contacted beforehand, as I have historically received calls from MultiChoice to confirm whether I wished to continue with the Price Lock option and I have always been giving a go ahead. On this occasion, no such communication was received. I requested that this matter be escalated and that I be contacted with clear feedback. However, it is now the end of January 2026 and I have still not received any response or resolution from MultiChoice. Please find the relevant transaction details below for your reference. I require a prompt explanation and resolution as a matter of urgency. Should this matter remain unresolved, I will be forced to escalate it further.
