UPSKILLING OF STAFF

Let me start by expressing my sadness and shock at the service i got from Multichoice, so i woke up today to get on with my day all of a sudden there is an error code displayed on the tv, advising me my account is in arrears, i should dial a number on my cellphone to clear the error and it should be sorted after 15 min. i actually made the transfer on the 19th March 2016, the payment reflected and i went to the next option to call the contact centre to get clarity.<br> I put a call through to the contact centre and the agent who assisted me was of no help and was even more clueless till my airtime ran out and then i went to the multi choice service centre to get clarity. my day just got worse and the 1st assistant didn't want to help and i went to the 2nd agent who passed me off to his supervisor/ manager who advised me that i made a duplicate payment in July 2015 but the system was offline and Multichoice reversed the 2nd payment as they though it was a duplicate payment.unfortunately they only picked up today, March 31st 2016, that i am actually in arrears for R468.00 and as a family we have been with multi choice since 1993, multichoice service levels have dropped drastically.

It is with regret that we learn of the frustration and inconvenience you have experienced with your account. Please accept our sincere apologies for the delayed response in this regard. We are currently experiencing high contact volumes.

Please note that indeed according to our system, there was a duplicate payment for 20/09/2015, that has now been reversed, hence your account is on a slight deficit.

Once again please accept our sincerest apologies for any inconvenience you may have experienced in this regard. In fact, our focus is to provide great experience to our customers in all your dealings with us. You may also request assistance from any of the below communication channels ( touchoints):
