Upgrade / Downgrade Options
Hi. I am battling to understand, hopefully someone can give me an answer. Why is it that you can upgrade your package mutiple times in a month, but Mutlichoice only allows you to downgrade once a month. I changed my package from compact to premium during the school holiday, but could only change it back on the 3rd. Mutiple upgrades from Compact to Premium and where do you upgrade to from there, coming guys the option used to be there where you could upgrade and downgrade as often as you required. Thanks

Previously, we allowed you to upgrade, downgrade or suspend your DStv package any time during the month. Our DStv service is a month-to-month contract - when you pay your subscription, the contract for that month is fixed.
Yes, in the past we allowed changes to your DStv package at any time of the month - this was a concession on our part as our systems couldn't facilitate it.
We've now implemented a tool to schedule your upgrades, downgrades or suspension of services - you can phone us or use self-service at any time to request the change, which we will implement on your next payment date.
