Untrained support stuff. Terrible service - cutting ties
The support stuff at Multichoice is terrible, untrained and unprofessional. They know nothing about de-escalation given a situation when dealing with an already frustrated customer. Already due to service related shortcomings. Despite having paid my account, they upgraded their app (it looks different) and since then I only see sport, nothing else. All my shows, and anything related to any of the profiles has been wiped off. No live TV, nothing. I have paid for this service and already frustrated. I take to their chat. I state this fact. Now, knowing these chats, and that most of which are AI in general, I am already on the fence about the type of response I will get. I am asked to provide all my information. Needless to say, a normal tech company would only need one of either email, ID or phone number. Which can be used to pull the account details and authenticate with asking one or more thereafter. The agent, MC/KABELO ask for EVERYTHING. ID, Email, Full Address, Phone Number. I provide as much as possible. He comes back with one a liner. "All information". Cold as can be. Now I assume I am talking to AI for sure – because how much more cold can you get to become less human. So, I respond asking, what information and please speak in full sentences. I hope you are not an AI as I am already not in a good mood after a terrible service. This unprofessional agent decides to go wild, with "You come here gunz blazing" and went to write a full paragraph giving me a lecture and ranting about how he is here to assist. And ends with "I understand your frustration" – which if he did, he would have known to de-escalate. I was trying to get things sorted, but now, I am looking to cancel the account completely. They are not only losing customers due to their lack of ability to adapt with changing times, but they also charge ridiculous fees for mediocre shows and services - they add to this with literally hiring people who are clearly there to nail their last nail on their coffin, because this is already a dying company. Despite being bought over. So, this agent does not deserve this job, nor does Multichoice deserve my money.
