Unprofessional conduct by Dstv

I was very excited to have won a cash prize of R2500 in the Shaka iLembe competition run over 12 weeks by mulichoice. After more than 25 years as a subscriber it's the first time i won anything. I was contacted on 24 July by dstv to inform me of my prize and requested my bank details and confirmation of acceptance of the prize. This I did and also took note of the date on which payment was supposed to be made as 31 August 2023. The date of payment came and went with no payment and so I sent an email reminding them I'm waiting for my prize.Return email was sent apologizing due to unforeseen circumstances payment will be made bu 15 September 2023. 15 September came and went still no payment so I sent another reminder...reply was an apology due to technical issues payment couldn't be made. It is laughable that a multi billion rand company is battling to pay R2500 yet there's no delay in taking my premium subscription every month.The joy of winning has been soured by this poor handling by multichoice.

The sad thing is that each episode had 10 to 15 winners and I wonder if the others are also being frustrated like this.
