Unknown DSTV insurance

I joined multichoice many years ago and was on compact plan until I changed in 2023 to pay the 120 plan when it was still that amount. It was towards year end in 2023 when I tries to pay my monthly subscription and came across a large balance . I enquired and was told I have insurance which I did not know about and now I can't pay for insurance I do now know but I can't pay my normal subscription now. I am very disappointed that DSTV would forge an insurance agreement, it's a shock of my life.
