Multichoice tells me i owe them but i dispute that because i was wrongly advised in two to three occasions by their consultants. Now my services are disrupted from time to time.

my references for the complaints are : ********** 0/ I458, I435, I486, I492 and ********** .

I believe that they should write off the amounts and hold thier cosultants liable.

DStv Hello Peter team
Best regards,
Good day Simon
Thank you for taking your time to share your experience.
We’ve checked your DStv account and below are the findings:
· On the 01 November 2016, we received R370.00 after the service was upgraded to the Premium package. At that time, the account had an overdue balance of R57.03 which we billed when the payment was received.
· There’s no payment reflecting for December 2016 and Premium service remained active till the 23 December 2016 leaving the account with an overdue balance of R796.13.
· We received R796.13 on the 10 January 2017 which had to settle the balance owed. On the 14 January 2017, the Premium service was reconnected and account owed the pro rata balance of R236.13.
· On 27 January 2017, we received R450.00 and the overdue balance had to be billed. Your DStv account remained with a credit balance of R213.87 which could not keep the service active till the end of February 2017 and there was an overdue balance of R35.80.
· On the 02 February 2017, we received R420.00 and the balance owed was billed and the credit remained was R384.20. This credit kept the service active till the 20 February 2017. For this reason, you manually paid R210.00 to keep the service active till the 28 February 2017.
· On the 27 February 2017, we received R380.00 for the Compact service. However, the service was upgraded to the Premium package on the 17 March 2017 leaving the account with an overdue amount of R204.89. We received payments on these dates – 01 and 04 April 2017 (R360.00 and R120.00). The account remained with a credit balance R275.11 for the Compact service but not sufficient for the service till 30 April 2017.
· On the 28 April 2017, we received R400.00 and the balance owed was debited (R174.89). The account remained with a credit balance of R225.11 and similarly to the month of May 2017.
· Currently, your account owes R224.89 which is the pro rata balance for the Premium service for December 2016. As indicated above, there’s no payment reflecting for December 2016.
Please settle the balance owed to balance your DStv account.
Kind regards
Dinah

Best regards,
You explaining all the payments but not adressing the advice i got from your *********** consultant about the payments. i would not have made certain payments just like that without clarifying. Hence i say i have called in twice month to month to clarify how much i should pay and i was advised and paid per advise.
i have a feeling you do not want to hold your consultants to account.
Recorded call should proof that as per all the REFERENCE NUMBERS i submitted.
It must be clear that i am not disputing your explanation but the incompetence and false advise i was given.
As a client i re**** on that to do an informed decision.
I made payments on advise, so the end result due to that is that now i have to pay what coulsd have been paid then as per advise.
I will not make any payment until you hold some one responsible for wrong advise.
Remember i called in and its cost to me for the telephone conversation.
