Unfair data usage for DSTV Catchup for running DSTV adds

I find it extremely unfair and frustrating that when watching DSTV Catch up and the selection is dependent on streaming the content that I'm forced not only to download adverti*****t but also forced to watch it. I understand that when downloading the selection will cost me data, but i don't understand why i should be paying (indirectly by the consumption of my data) to view DSTV adverti*****t. So not only is it costing me money, but DSTV are probably making more money out of forcing me to watch the Adds. I find this extremely unfair and DSTV are not willing to change this.
