Unfair and sneaky billing days

Not to long ago if I switched on my Holiday Home for 1 day at say 13:00, I knew it will be on to at least 13:00 the next day and getting billed for 1 day (24 hour period) only. Therefore when you arrived in the afternoon it was on for the afternoon/evening and the next morning until you leave at say 11:00 (because only going of at around 13:00 ). This according to me is the norm for any overnight/weekend situation and it didn't border that you didn't use it for the full period. But these days, without any prior notice by DSTV, with the excuse of a new system and apparently just sneaked it in under the fine print of T's & C's, for you to be able to have TV for a normal afternoon/evening and the morning after, you have to switch it on for 2 days (Which suddenly are the least days you can activate it for) and getting billed for 2 days while you actually used it for less than 24 hours. I think it is very unfair and sneaky because for 1 night/morning you pay 100% more and for a weekend of 2 nights (Arriving after 12:00 in the afternoon on Friday and leaving before 12:00 on Sunday morning (again the norm according to me), you pay 50% more than just a few months ago!!
