Unanswered Questions from DSTV
I have struggled for hours now to get the most basic information about services and cost. Most of my basic questions go unanswered, and I have been asked about four times for my initilas & surname, ID number, customer number and smart card number
The service is hideously expensive, and their statements totally untransparent

12 Jan 2021, 15:31I had specifically asked for a statement or invoice showing how much I am being charged for each of three television sets. One of these was installed in the bedroom when I had undergone an operation that required me to lie on my back for more than 3 months during February to May 2020 (I was not allowed to sit at all during this time).
The DSTV charge for this TV, which has not been used since May 2020 appears to have cost as much as the cost of the set plus decoder. Likewise the DSTV charge on our seaside TV set, which to the best of my knowledge has not been in operation since the end of March 2019. But my attempts to determine the actual costs have been futile.
My oft repeated requests for a specified statement or invoice to determine these costs have only yielded instructions for how to pay -- without specifying what exactly I am paying for. And for how long that payment would provide a service to me.

12 Jan 2021, 15:40Likewise, I have requested that the channels available on various DSTV channels be emailed to me -- to no effect. On request about how much it would cost to add KykNet (the SINGLE channel 144), it turned out (after some erroneous information) that it would hike my monthly payment from R29 to R529 -- a six thousand rand per year increase for ONE set (and eighteen thousand for three sets?)
