Unallocated payments

Ive been a dstv customer for the past 6years and my payments for the account have been via eft or cash payments at Pick n Pay.

I received an sms from Dstv Multichoice on the 23/12/2016 which stated that my account was incorrectly credited with R1600 and the error would be rectified. The following day i received another message stating that im owing R1600 and failure to pay would result in the suspension of my services.

I called in to speak to one of the consultants and i was informed that two eft payments made on 5th October 2015 had returned unpaid on the 11th November 2016. I was advised to get a banking statement and send it to the email ********** to this date i received bo feedback even though i was told that my case would be investigated.

Since the month of December my services have been suspended atleast twice a week and i have had to call in every time to have my services reconnected which seems to have inflated the current amount owing.

I spoke to Penelope whom escalated the matter to her supervisor whom also failed to to resolve the matter(Hlengiwe Malapane). I sent her proof of payments from the bank and to this day ive received no feedback.

Its rather disturbing for a huge business like Multichoice to have consultants that do not confirm that they have received an email of requested info or even attach requested info to queries made. I dont understand the logic of stating that a payment made in 2015 can suddenly appear a year later as a payment reversed. It makes no sense at all.

I terribly dissappointed with the services at Dstv Multichoice. Im constantly inconvenienced and incurr unnecessary expenses for phonecalls made constantly to DStv for just empty promises. Its totally unacceptable!!!!!!

Good Day, im a bit baffled about something. I was informed that i wouldnt pay my premium for the month in compensation for the inconvenience. My services were reconnected and then later disconnected. Due to unpaid premiums, please advise how this really works????????
