Unacceptable service

The last 12 months I have had a very unpleasant experience with Multichoice, where they cannot get my holiday home activated, even after referring it to their technical section, but still bill for it. I also don’t buy the Covid excuse anymore because if their billing section can bill me for an unprovided services during the Covid period, surely their technical section can sort out technical problems in the Covid period. As mentioned before Multichoise is a faceless organisation where you cannot talk to a service agent, merely directed from one menu to the other menu when you call in. Only after you call in 3x times in succession, they allow you to speak to a service agent. I specifically requested them to come back to me to check if their technical section was successful in solving my problem (because from previous experience normally do not solve the problem). As expected they did not call back and the whole weekend I had no service at my holiday home, but was billed. I have 10x decoders between my various properties and am strongly considering cancelling all DSTV subscriptions and moving over to Netflix, I strongly advise any prospective Multichoice customers to carefully consider if you want to do business with a company who do not consider their customers worthy of a simple R2 call to check that their service is working, but don’t hesitate to each month send a R1000 plus invoice without fail
