To laugh or to cry...

Hopefully the Multichoice monopoly will be broken some day. I paid my monthly subscription a day late this month, my bad. Expected it to be disconnected so I included a reconnection fee when I made the payment. I phoned, sent through the proof of payment and confirmed that the service is reconnected. Wonderful. Next day? Same story. Their explanation - Sorry, we are experiencing a back log with payment allocations, but don't worry, we will reconnect you in the meantime. Next day? Same story, and now the amount due is more than what I've paid because of the two additional reconnection fees. Phone, sent proof, they reconnect. Next day? Same story. This time someone actually reverses the reconnection fees and sent the proof of payment to another team that is 'not that busy'. Next day? Same story. It is now the 9th of June and we're cut off again... Sometimes you just have to take a deep breath, laugh a little and pick up the phone... again.... The day that they don't have a monopoly on sport anymore will be the day they can close their doors.
