The Worst Customer Service DSTV - !!!! NETFLIX come SAVE US Please SA needs you. 01 December 2016

I transfered funds to my holiday home account using the self service portal, but when i wanted to active it the system would not allow me to.

On the 01/12/2016

I called in to the DSTV Call Centre at 09am for the agent to assist me, i was told she could not but she would escilate it and it would be resolved with in an hour.

Two hours later it was not resolved and i called again this time i spoke to a diffrent agent whom also told me he would escilate it, i then insisted on speaking to a supervisor, the agent took a total of 20minutes to get a supervisor as according to him there was no supervisor on the floor. he finaly got a supervisor by the name of Pearl whom once again assured me the issue would be resolved within an Hour and she would call me to check that my service has been restored, that was at 11:30.

at 01h00pm the issue was not yet resolved and i called again and asked to imediately speak to a supervisor a supervisor by the name of Dumesani came to assist me, he then told me that a SD ( refrence number for escilation) was not logged or he cannot see an SD and when he asked Pearl in passing if she had logged the SD she told him she is not sure (translation: She did not).

He then told me that if i can hold on he would log an SD for me and walk it over to an Operations Manager to authorise that my issue is imediatley addressed. He also indicated that he would check in with me in 30 minutes time meaning 01:30 to check if my service has been activated. to which i responded that i want the Operations Manager to call me and not him. The SD number he then communicated to me was SD ********** .

The operations manager has not called me back but rather Pearl called me to tell me the issue was resolved and my service was restored but when i called to confirm if the service was restored while pearl was holding my gf whom was at the tv said that it ws not restored.

I askedf to speak to an operations manager whom pearl indicated was Phebe Colane that dealt with my SD to which she indicated she cannot forward my call to him but would send him an e-mail to indicate to him that he would have to call me back this was at 01:35

what amazingly horrible service, from a compnay that i am giving sop much of my hard earned cash to, to provide a service that one could get online.

When is Netflix coming to SA??????
