THE AA DROPPED ME WHEN I NEEDED THEM THE MOST
I have been a member of AA roadside assistance for a year now. Two days ago my car broke down on my way home and at an unsafe area so I decided to call AA to where they seems quite helpful at first. Gave them the relevant information they required to assist me. The consultant said she would call me back. Imagine my surprise when she tells me the day that I need their assistance that I haven't paid them for 2 months. I was shocked as I have seen the payments go out. However I do jot keep track of them every month and noticed that they haven't been debating my account and didn't even have the decency of calling me to notify me. The next call I received was to advise me that my membership had expired. Really? How does a membership expire? She said That they are willing to help me but I would need to pay them R1600. What a waste of my money for so many months. Very unprofessional and most of all disappointing. I thought I was safe cos they would have had my back but clearly they sell you a bull**** story when you enquire. When it comes down to the real thing. It's just a fantasy. I am enquiring with my bank now. Perhaps they have a better service. A real one!
