Terrible stream quality - DSTV Capping stream service?

No matter what I do on my end I cannot get good quality of stream. I have a more than capable internet line (100Mbps fibre). I have reset my router, tried multiple devices through the App and through different browsers. I have tried with Wi-Fi and with wired connections. I cannot get anything higher than 576p quality never mind even 720p and never even dream of getting1080p even when manually selecting those options. The blame is always placed on my internet line when I contact support. How then can every other streaming service (YouTube/Netflix/Twitch/Showmax - cancelled now) stream comfortably at 1080p and even multiple devices doing the same thing at the same time yet even if I switch everything else off and ONLY run DSTV I cannot get anything higher than 576p? DSTV just blames the end user. The Live DSTV chat assistance is abysmal at best - goes around in circles and then ends with "It's your internet".

DSTV capping users depending on which package they signed up for? Do we need to pay for the most expensive package in order to get 1080p quality? If so, where can I read up on that because when signing up for the Compact package nothing is mentioned about capped quality? Nothing is mentioned about streaming quality on the Premium package either.

How can DSTV fight to survive if they cannot even provide 1080p quality to their paying customers.
