Terrible Billing Service

I have been treated like trash by this Service Provider. I tried to persevere and give them a chance to rectify their blunder, but I was very surprised today to receive yet another call, proving that they still have not rectified my account.

I started using an FNB bank account for payment of my rental since Jan 2015, and I never had any problem about the allocation of my payment. This time, I paid on the 1st of Jul, but my service was disconnected on the morning of 7th. My kids were at home for school holidays and since I'm using a plasma monitor, they stayed without TV for the whole day, as I was busy in training facilitation. The bit of time that I found on the day, I tried to call customer services line but everyone was useless.

Only when I knocked off in the afternoon, I could go to their Randburg office. That was my family time and patrol that I wasted. When I got there, I was told that my service was suspended due to, guess what?, nonpayment!!! I had to produce proof of payment to prove that I paid. And then I was told that I used the WRONG bank account, (the same one I've been using since 2015, without a problem, or anyone calling me to tell that it was wrong).

I had to ask for a manager, Tebogo, who told me the same thing. I was very frustrated and eventually my service was unsuspended. I was promised that the funds will be allocated to my account. To my surprise, this afternoon, I received a call from their Collections Department, (Sibusiso was the agent's name). He told me that he was calling about my unpaid rental for the month. At that moment, I was waiting for a call from someone who would confirm that my payment had been allocated, and that Multichoice sincerely apologises for the error...but it wasn't to be. I decided to bring this to the public platform as my desperate endeavour to get this Service Provider to realise their mistake and "do the right thing".

I hope I'm not going to be bothered again about this.

Regards,

Goodman
