Terrestrial viewers being exploited

I've been trying to get M-Net Terrestrial department to respond to me for quite a while without any success, so I've decided to turn to hellopeter.

The quality of service being experienced by terrestrial subscribers of MMet is appalling.

Firstly, we are being shown an excessive amount of repeat programming. There is simply no consideration for the fact that we pay R400 a month to view a single tv channel. There simply isn't any effort to structure programming fur terrestrial viewers, only a sitter copy of dstv 101.

Secondly, come holiday season the amount of repeat programming increases with excuses of production breaks, and we are bombarded with an oversees holiday musical, repeated to death.

Thirdly, when there is a broadcasting a problem the response to the problem from MNet is almost non existing. I've been watching MNet for around 3 hours without sound. On a previous occasion I was told to bring in my decoder for repair. The decoder was in fact not faulty. Today when I cashed in again I was given the same message. Luckily I had experienced this before and insisted on speaking to a supervisor, and was then informed that there is a transmission error. What happened to a message on the signal that communicates to subscribers?

It seems as if MNet has simply switched of proper support for terrestrial PAYING customers. No apologies, no refunds, no feedback on emails, just repetitive programming that irritates and frustrates.

How is it possible that a multi billion rand company can't get this right? Manage terrestrial scheduling properly, or introduce a special transfer to digital for terrestrial viewers or something!!!

I am sure the company must already be feeling the impact of Netflix, but apparently not enough to try and retain customers that are clearly not impressed with what they are getting for their money

Reviewer Update

After having waited 5 hours fur the error on the broadcasting to be resolved I called the call centre again. There is no entry of my previous complaint on the system, still no sound, and apparently no existing error that they are aware of?????

After again insisting that a supervisor investigates I receive feedback that this is a broadcast problem and they are working on it!!!!

This is ridiculous! My insistence it's the only reason why mnet acknowledges the error but still no communication, no resolution, no refunds, just silence (excuse the punn)

Maybe I should start a campaign to support Netflix and StarSat.
