Temporary Cancellation not approved

I phoned Multi Choice to cancel my subscription for the months that I will be visiting my kids abroad. This will be form 8 November 2023 to 11 March 2024. The lady said that I must phone after the 25th. She also said that it works per calendar month (what is acceptable) and that I must give a month notice. WHY? To rob the pensioners who go visit their kids after they invited us and paid for the flight tickets. Now Multi Choice want to keep our money. It is not that they will go bankrupt if the stop our payment order for December to February (3 months) while, in the mean time, they just offer **** and sport. We have to watch programs over and over and over again while they smile all the way to the bank while we must struggle to make a living. I need confirmation that this debit order will be stopped for December 2023, January 2024 and February 2024 at least.
