Suspend accounts although I have a debit order

So Multichoice/DSTV run a campaign to encourage you, to pay your account, via debit order, which I duly do. Get an error message, so I phone the call centre, only to be informed that my account has been suspended because it is in arrears. I say impossible I have a debit order in place to take care of payment.
Person in call centre re connects my service but here is the kicker. I GET CHARGED A RECONNECTION FEE OF APPROX R200-00 PER CONNECTION. I HAVE HAD TO RECONNECT MY SERVICE 3 TIMES IN ONE MONTH!!! THIS IS RIDICULOUS!!!!
Someone in the accounts department of Multichoice, does not do his/her job, i.e. process the debit order and send it off to the bank and for being that *********** and lazy, AND NEGLECTING TO DO HIS/HER JOB, I AM PENALIZED WITH A RECONNECTION FEE.
Can Multichoice please explain the rationale behind this preposterous action. This borders on ***** and I am sure is in contravention of the consumer act.
