Support and value for money.

I have been a loyal subscriber to MNet/DSTV for some Forty years now. Over this period I have had to replace decoders for various reasons. I have made a simple request to have all the old decoder numbers taken off my profile and I have been told it cannot be done. Absolute ******* I say. Multichoice may keep these if they so desire but for my profile they are defunct and of no value whatsoever. Secondly I must say for the price we pay the content available is pathetic. Repeats after repeats and of the bouquet od 181 channels available I only watch at best ten. Any other language than English I have no interest in and if we need to subsidise other viewers which I know is the case at least give us a choice of bouquet composition. I have got to the point where if it was not for F1 and MotoGP racing I would ditch DSTV in a heart beat. PS I am about to do so as the arrogance of Multichoice is beyond belief. Rod Parker

I have got to say communication with DSTV leaves a lot to be desired. Recently on two occasions I received SMS`S notifying that Disney Plus has been activated on my account without consultation or with my permission. As soon as these were cancelled I received a message of reactivation, three times. This is *****. To add insult to injury I see now in my latest statement I was charged for this service. Who decides on this kind of activity ? In the same vain a while ago DSTV started charging an additional amount for a so called connection fee ( which was new), I enquired about this and to this day do not have a reply. Remember business' works on the principal of willing buyer and willing seller. I also notice that a significant amount of new content advertised is for additional pay channels. How rich. I understand a business needs to make a profit but your monopolistic approach is seeing viable competitors mushrooming up and shortly DSTV will no longer be the dominant entertainment broadcaster. I may be in your eyes a single customer but having been in business for thirty years my network of friends and club members could influence your business somewhat.
