Streaming: Hisense & Samsung TV's
DSTV discriminating against people who stream with Samsung & Hisense TV's. Apparently, they did an "upgrade" with which they block all streaming clients who make use of Samsung & Hisense TV's. Is it legal to target certain fabrications & in the process ***** their clients?? I rather block DSTV than buy a new TV. Can someone explain what the method behind the madness is??

28 Jul 2023, 15:48I spoke to Hisense. It seems DSTV deliberetly upgraded their systems to block TV's older than 2020. Although mine was bought in 2021 it seems it was build in 2020. Why do DSTV want to force people to buy new TV's again?? 50' TV NOT cheap. I rather go the Steve Hofmeyer route than buying a new TV again. This one can still do Netflieks, Showmax, etc.
