STOLE my money when account is not active
in Dec 2015, I cancelled my DSTV subscription. It was confirmed on 31 Dec 2015 (and I accepted the fact that I will need to pay R800 because I did not notify them 5 days in advance). On 3 Feb 2016, a debit order for R775 went through for DSTV. I called them and enquired on 3 Feb, and they indicated that my account was deactivated on 31 Dec, but that somehow it was reactivated (without my authorization). I indicated that I never watched anything on my decoder during this time.
On 3 Feb, it was agreed that I will be reimbursed within 24 hours
I called again on 8 Feb and asked when I will be reimbursed and again it was mentioned to be 24 hours.
Up to now, I have not received any money back from DSTV. Beware, they are losing subscriptions, and now they just take your money, even when you have cancelled the subscription.
