Still no response or help from DSTV!!! Now saying I owe them R730.54.
Posted this last week. Still the same nonsense
For months now DSTV has been overcharging me. I am on the compact package with a PVR decoder which should amount to R399 + R89 = R488. Some months I end up paying double because according to Multichoice I have short paid. Every month I have this problem and end up calling in every week saying the same thing over and over again and no one can help. I have asked for detailed statements and the statements show that the account is in credit, meaning MULTICHOICE OWES ME MONEY !!!! but still my services gets suspended every week and I have to spend money on airtime making more than ten calls just to sort out my service. Some of these consultants even give you attitude and throw the phone down while you are explaining. This is extremely frustrating. I have been a loyal customer and pay more than the monthly subscription every month. I should be on the premium package the way DSTV takes my money it's not even funny. We were asked to send our proof of payment to Multichoice I probably sent it about 6 times before one of the consultants could actually find it then I was told its because my payment was reversed. HOW ??? Im a cash paying customer ( Since we installed DSTV, never paid via debit order ) but Multichoice decided to debit my husbands account after we had already made payment. An account which is closed by the way.
I think the thing that is most upsetting is that I have received no feedback, no help, no e-mail, no changed is the so called outstanding balance which non existent because my damn account is in credit. So now my service is suspended but I've made payment and apparently we owe R500. Lies and deception. Honestly feel I should lay a complaint with the SA Consumer Commision maybe then I will get a response. They get so much complaints I don't even think Multichoice cares. Anyway if my account is not sorted and my service reactivated i will be going to the consumer commission. Thank you for your ****ty service.
