Special offer ****

I am ****ed off at how DSTV tricks customers into paying the full DStv Premium packages.

I received an SMS stating that there is a special offer to upgrade to DStv Premium and pay R699, I contacted DSTV and accepted this offer, the consultant asked me if i wanted the R699 offer to be extended until March 2019 and i accepted that.

Now at the end of November i received an SMS stating that the R699 special ends on the 30 November, i phoned DSTV beginning of December to ask what this was about as i was under the impression that this will last until next year, the consultant on the phone told me that i was indeed still on the R 699 offer, i then asked why i'm getting an SMS saying the next debit order will be R 809, he said that was an error.

This morning i see that a debit order of R 809 came off my account, surely this is not lawful, how do you offer a special price and then deduct the full price for my account? I did not enter into a full price plan.

After this nonsense i have decided i do not want this Premium, i want my account to be put back on Compact plus and i want the difference outside of that R699 refunded to me immediately.
