I will never recommend any one to DSTV because I feel that if I do that I will be causing harm and financial loss to people. The service and programming at DSTV is so poor , if they paid me a million rands to recommend them I certainly will not . Besides being too expensive there is so much wrong with DSTV . Even at their Call Centres we received such un-professional , rude and un-friendly service . At DSTV you are just a number . All they care about is receiving your monthly subscription . Once you leave them , they don't even message you or phone you . If you do some research you will find that Netflix and Prime Video are the leading services globally and wait for this , they don't even provide live sport , yet they are streets ahead of DSTV . The ratings for DSTV in South Africa is falling fast and as far as I am concerned , DSTV can be likened to the Titanic , and we all know what happened to the Titanic . By the way , there is plenty of live sport available via streaming on other services . Some are free and some are at a very , very cheap monthly rate, and wait for this, there no ads on the ones that you subscribe to . As long as you have good uncapped ,WIFI at home , the world is your oyster . Soccer , Serie A , Premier League , Africa Cup Of Nations , UEFA , Betway Premiership , Spanish La Liga , FA Cup , even Bundesliga , Rugby , Cricket , Basketball , and many more . DSTV don't even show Bundesliga games . It's all there waiting for you at a price that will make you dizzy with excitement . DSTV is ripping innocent South Africans off with their exorbitant rates , and bad service and they think that they are the only ones that can show live sport . How wrong are they . Since I cancelled my subscription on DSTV , it is as if I have been set free from a life sentence of watching bad TV . My only regret is that I should have done this so much earlier . But as they say , better late, than never .
