Smart Card Disable / Cancellation Procedure-Bed and Breakfast and Hotels a mess
During 2017 MultiChoice changed there procedure to disable or cancel Smart Cards. This was not communicated to customers and when the normal procedure was followed this business was billed fully by MultiChoice for 2 months. MultiChoice was furnished with a list of all smart cards via Addendum B during the application process and yet when you send e-mail with the list of cards to be disabled they let the process over run the end of the month by claiming they need a list of all smart cards that was not disabled as they want to curb *****. No decoder can work with a disabled card so it this excuse is utter nonsense. If you ask the call desk consultants for the precise procedure in writing they promise to send it to you and you never receive the promised e-mail. I was even told that and e-mail was send to us, but the e-mail mysteriously disappeared as well as the promised e-mail with the procedure to follow.
