Shocking way to treat loyal customers

I phoned Multichoice on the 3 August 2015 to have my DSTV disconnected. I clearly told the consultant that I could not afford it any longer and they were to please cut the service. After a long argument and me repeating myself about 5 times, the conversation ended.

The service was then left on for an additional two weeks before being cut. I am now expected to pay for the two weeks.

Bearing in mind that if the subscription is not paid and you don't call, they will inevitably cut the service within the first 3 days of non payment. I have had this a few times in the past when forgetting to make payment. BUT if you have the decency to call and ask for it to be cut, well then they leave it on and expect you to pay despite being unable to for financial reasons.

I have been a loyal customer for a number of years and now well...congratulations Multichoice, you have turned a loyal customer into an enemy. Never to be seen again. Forever to tell the world how bad you are.

I have every intention to file a complaint with the NCR very shortly. The NCR have taken a firm stance on combatting over indebtedness, something which you seem to have fallen short on.
