Shocking service from Multichoice | Debit Orders
Last year Multichoice asked me to go on their debit order system for my Premium subscription of DSTV. I use to pay my account on a monthly basis via EFT.

The consultant at the time then activated the debit order on my account and I agreed that it will save me time every month.

After the first month I realised that there seems to be a problem, my debit order was not going off my account. I then made DSTV aware of this and spoke to a gentleman by the name of Ayanda and my reference number was ***. My Box Office purchases however did get deducted from my bank account. On Friday 3 April I had a problem with my PVR and then whilst holding on found out that I have a R5000 outstanding balance.

Why? Because DSTV never activated the debit order properly. On Saturday I phoned the help centre and was promised that a supervisor will come back to me. Nobody phoned me back, the same happened on Sunday 11 April. I was told that the supervisor is in a meeting and he will return my call. The supervisor that was suppose to phone me back was a Mr Naidoo.

It seems like the R5000 now becomes my problem, DSTV did not phone me once to discuss my outstanding balance or the debit order
