Shocking service from DSTV Installer - Crystal Clear TV

We contacted Crystal ClearLast week to come and repair an installation. Eban agreed on a time on the 5 Jan and we waited. He did not arrive at the said time, when we tried to phone, the call was cut off on numerous occasions. When he eventually answered his phone, he said that he was busy with a complex installation. Fair enough, we accepted this as these things happen, however a phone call indicating that he would not be on time would have been appreciated.

On the 5th January, at 18h00 the following sms was sent by Mr de Beer, who was due to leave the country " (my address given) for Tuesday 10 Jan, 16h00 please check and correct installation problems. (My phone number given)".

I arrived a home shortly before 16h00 on the 10th January to wait for Eban. More than an hour later, I get a phone call from what I can only refer to as a female to seemingly confirm my address. I had informed her that I had been waiting for over an hour and that I was not impressed at all and that this had been arranged last week, she bascially called me a **** at that point

. She then changed her story and said that Eban had been there and I was not, I informed her that I had been there since 16h00 and had been waiting for over an hour and asked her why she had asked to confirm my address if Eban had already been there.

She became very rude and argumentative and then slammed the phone down after informing me that they had over 1000 clients, I repied that bad time keeping was not my problem.

I then phoned Eban and promptly gave him a few lessons in business ettiqutte and put the phone down.

I informed him that this will go on social media which I did.

I received a threatening sms from him stating that he records all his calls. I informed him that I also record my calls and I have the conversation from his exceptionally rude and *********** female.

Firstly, Crystal Clear is not doing me any favours, I pay for their service and I suggest they understand this.

Secondly, DSTV is a luxury, not a neccessity so as a service provider, if you want to maintain a client base, your sub-contractors level of professsionalism reflect against the DSTV brand.

My questions to you now are as follows: How do you vett your installers? How do you allow such sub-standard service and abuse of your paying clients?

I do not think Crystal Clear is beneficial to your brand and should be removed as a registered DSTV installer.

I also want a full written, plublic apology from both Eban and his *********** "receptionist" not only for wasting my time (twice) and money, as I contract out, but also for the attitude I received from the recoptionist.

If DSTV is happy with this behaviour from installer, who are your brand emabassadors, I will glady cancel my subscription and wait for a new service provider.

One whole week and zero feedback........Now I understand why your installers are useless, incmpetent and downright rude. DSTV and Multichoice don't care about client service.

Clearly this is a company culture.

I received a phone call from Waheed Khan and what a pleasure to deal with him, I was also informed that Crystal Clear TV is not on their installers list.

Unfortunately, the complaint was passed on to Centurion for further action and the service and follow-up is as shoddy and *********** as Crystal clear TV.

I would appreciate a some decent service and feedback as this has now been over two weeks and still no resolution.

Once again, multichoice is failing dismally at what they seem to think client service actually is..

Once again, this supplier is determined to try and undermine and intimidate a client. These are your brand ambassadors and despite my request for a full, written and public apology for my treatment, I received a badly worded attempt at an apology telling how difficult life had become. I was under the impression that company had been removed from the supplier database as requested or some form of corrective action would have been addressed. Clearly, none of this has happened at all from either DSTV or Multichoice which indicates that you are not too choosy about vetting your Brand Ambassadors. I now demand that this company, Crystal Clear get removed permanently from your supplier database from the entire Gauteng area. Failing that, this individual will now publish a formal letter of apology on this site as well as where anybody can see it. I will not tolerate a FB mesbranding on it.sage telling how tough life is now. It will be formal and it will carry your
