Shame on you DSTV (Multochoice)
I wrote an e-mail to DSTV on 1 May to complain about their discriminatory policies. I soon received a reply indicating that a full response to my complaint would be forwarded within 8 working hours. By 15 May no reply was received and I then submitted a second e-mail requesting a response. The second e-mail went the same route as a full reply remains outstanding. In addition, I phoned Multichoice on a number of occasions. This is very frustrating as they do not appear to like to talk to people unless it looks like new business. On each occasion that I was able to speak to a person, I was told that the person could not deal with the matter and I was given a different number to phone. Invariably I ended up at numbers that were not answered and eventually just cut the call off. This is the sort of treatment that you may receive from a poorly run government department but surely not a prime business. I too think that the monopoly that Multichoice has on the home entertainement market is unfair and should be limited so that proper services could be ensured.
