Service not important.

Pricelock First this is a great product for working people and i thought it would suit me. After sms the agents was very quick to call me to get it all sorted. Decoder was delivered to me and i received 2 installers' numbers. Upon calling both installers they both confirmed that the dont do pricelock installations as dstv don't pay them. 1st alarm bell ignored by me. Then i call dstv 3 times to ask hiw they will assist me and only when i called the 4th time an installer about 40 km from my home called to confirm date and time. Yes I was already irritated but yet I persisted. Still believing in dstv. The installer came at the agreed time and all was well. I went back to work without checking that all is well with installation. Yes i know, I should have waited and checked.

When i got to work the installer called to say that they forgot the voucher at my house but i must send a picture of it to them and it will be sorted. I send the pucture whsn i got home and he told me 15 minutes and i will have great viewing pleasure... 2 hours later no viewing at all. Error 107. I called installer, they can only come back the next day. No tv for a day, yet no 1 dat subscription decucted. I called customer care and the agent advised me that there is nothing they can do i must call installer to come back. Fuming is an understatement. Called installer again and yet he can only come back the next day. Then i called dstv again. This is R65 airtime later. 2nd agent i spoke to sounded more helpful and tried to assist. I told her that my airtime might run out and she must please call me back. The first time i heard from any service provider that they cannot call customers back... Eventually i ran out of airtime Nd decided to use selfservice. Dstv.com What a disaster. No help at all...

Well people i am still without dstv service, but guess what, i am e pected to pay for a price lock decoder that is not working at the moment due to smartcard not being paired. I am also expected to pay full subscription fee for channels that i am not currently viewing.

This service is pathetic. I am in service providing and i am appalled by this terrible e service.
