Service Complaint
Various issues today . 1. My aunt's decoder became faulty and I offered her my old unit which I no longer use. I called to find out how or what I needed to make this happen as I'm in Pinetown area . I was told by the agent to go to the Crest centre in Pinetown . So off we went only to find that there is NO DStv walk-in centre at the Crest Mall . So I called again and was told to go to Umhangla. 2. My aunt is 87 years old and was made to wait outside in the wind in a long queue even after asking I was told to wait like everyone else . 3 . I gave the lady my old decoder and she did the the transfer of ownership and successfully upgraded the software. We were ready to go when the lady took the smartcard out and then suddenly the decoder no longer wanted to accept the smart card and kept giving some error. This unit broke broke while in your custody with your assistant. This was already almost past 16h00 and wasn't going to start a argument , so we just opted to purchase a new decoder because now suddenly the docoder became faulty. I want my decoder sorted out ,and not at my cost .If it was broken in my custody it would be my problem but this broke in your custody and I will not pay R 375 for a swap out unit.
