SERIOUSLY bad attitude

Due to the fact that neither my retired husband nor I watch a lot of tv but would still like some access on my account, I want to migrate down to Easyview from Extra basic option but keeping the additional Xtra View so we can each watch our own limited choice programs in our own rooms without annoying each other.

According to my calculations that would cost R39 for Easyview plus R80 for Xtra View, totalling R129 per month (compared to the R505 I have been paying for the Extra base option with Xtra view.)

So I went to the Ladysmith branch of Multichoice and was told NO WAY can this request even be CONSIDERED OR SUBMITTED before 3 December as I have already paid for the month of November, and no credit balance is allowed!

This is certainly news to me.

I was furthermore told that, as I have no Christmas spirit, my debit order with Multichoice is now CANCELLED and I can come in in future and pay cash over the counter.

I am 66 years old and I walk and stand with the help of a hand crutch.

Is this attitude typical of Multichoice? Please phone me to assist me with this. I don't wish to cancel my debit order, I just want this sorted out.
