Self enrichment

To whom it may concern,

I just made contact with DSTV and spoke to a consultant by the name of Noluthanda regarding my query.

I picked up that DSTV upgraded my package and enterered into a 24 month agreement without my consent. I use to pay DSTV R479 P/M for a compact package however from this month my instalment increased to R624 and I'm on a compact plus. I ask the consultant to investigate and she advised it is an automated upgrade from the pricing team and my remaining duration is 23months. If I cancel I will be liable for cancelation fees. My question to her was how can I be liable if I never consented to the agreement. I did not sign for the amendment nor did I enter into a voice log agreement. This us really ********* practice and it is not lawful.

I advised the consultant one cannot enter into an agreement without consent from the customer and DSTV did so in this instance. This forms part of self enrichment.

I would like dstv to rectify the mistake caused and credit my account with the difference and amend my instalment going forth.
