Select Bouquet Removal of Channel 187
Last week we were informed by a message on the TV that the Discovery Channel 187 would no longer be available but would be replaced by Channel 136. As this did not happen and upon further email enquiries we were told that Select viewers would no get channel 136 and in addition we note that the MNet open time (1800hrs to 1900hrs has also been blocked.<br> We therefore belief that Multichoice are in breach of their contract, more so when they have just increased their subscription fees and taken away more content. We were told that we could change to the Family Bouguet which is also R219 per month however this does not support KykNet which is the main reason we went for the Select option in he beginning.

Our intention is certainly not to provide a sub-standard service to our customers. In fact, our focus is to provide great experience to our customers in all your dealings with us.
Discovery World is no longer available on the DStv platform.
We have launched a new channel called Discovery Family on DStv Channel 135.
Select 1 and 2 packages have since been ring-fenced - this means that no new customers will be allowed on these packages and no new channels will be added to these packages in future.
