******** and their service providers

This is a formal complaint which I wish to lodge and expect feedback.

I moved on Saturday. I went to the my DSTV rewards and claimed a R200 voucher.

I googled accredited suppliers and the first one the pulled up I called. I called the number *** his name is William.

I told him that I have a voucher does he accept same as he is listed as an accredited service provider he said yes.

I also said that I would require cabling, he said it was R22.. per meter I agreed he further advised that his call out fee is R350 to which I agreed.

Later that day a car with 4 men appear at my gate and advised that they from DSTV. I let them into the complex and left them at home with my grandmother whilst I went to fetch the rest of the boxes.

There was initially an issue with the DSTV dish that I had none the less that was sorted.

It came time for payment.

This is what I got :

Herewith the breakdown :

1. Call out fee = R350 2. Cable 32 metres @ R22 = R704 ( There is no way they could have used 32 meters maybe a maximum of 12 meters nothing more.) 3. Accessories = R705 ( WHAT ACCESSORIES ?) 4. Dish Kit (Arm bracket & LNB holder) R475.00 5. Service fee = R780.00 ( WHERE IS THERE A SERVICE FEE IF I AM PAYING A CALL OUT FEE) Total = R1939

When I wanted to provide them with my voucher code I was told they don’t It does not end there.

I paid them as mentioned I was moving and did have time to argue, later that evening, the security guard came to my place and said the neighbor opposite to me in the complex reported her DSTV dish missing. Now is that a coincidence or what!!! As there 4 men here in the complex to install one dish!!!

This IS THE TYPE OF PEOPLE YOU HAVE ON YOUR WEBSITE AND THIS IS THE SERVICE AND PAYMENTS I HAVE TO MAKE FOR BEING A LONG STANDING CLIENT OF YOURS.

And as we speak I am sitting TRYING TO FIGURE OUT WHERE THE HELL AM I GOING TO GET CASH FOR THE REST OF THE MONTH CAUSE I GAVE THE LAST BIT OF IT TO SOME ********

I WANT SOMEONE TO CALL ME ABOUT WHAT YOU CAN DO ABOUT THIS MESS!!!!
