Ive been a dstv subscriber for quite some time now and what ive noticed is that some channels just have a message reading "IMPORTANT NOTICE" and then the channel is completely just taken away ,now how about reducing my payment or replace those channels, because initially when i signed up i agreed for payment for a certain package with an amount of channels which should be active ,i wont even bother to call them because they always have some type of an excuse ,we basicly paying for signal which makes your tv set play nice and clear and for a hole lot of repeat movies,my daughter of 5 knows which words to say before the actors even start talking ,so what is that all about,so please replace the channels or reduce payment

Our intention is certainly not to provide a sub-standard service to our customers. In fact, our focus is to provide great experience to our customers in all your dealings with us.
DStv reviews there prices once a year at the end of our financial year – we don’t adjust prices mid-year for channels that have been added or taken away. These changes are focussed on removing that weren’t popular or that had the same content as other existing channels.
We understand your concern about repeats, however, repeats are a necessary component in the multi-channel environment, for viewer convenience, as well as due to the manner in which movie rights are secured.
Kind regards
Rupert
