**********: DStv reactivate OLD account without consent.
My dad cancelled his DStv account a couple of months ago, after SOME of the channels stopped. He contacted DStv and someone "helped" by saying he must reset the decoder. After the reset NO channels worked. My dad CANCELLED his DStv account. Today, he received an sms and the account was re-instadded!!!!!!!!!!!!! WITHOUT HIS CONSENT. I read the exact same **** behavior on mybroadband. DStv, HE DID NOT give you permission to reactivate his account. This is unexceptable. Please contact us ASAP!

Thank you for sorting out the problem. I just need to bring to your attention the other main reason we didn't continue with DStv. We were registered on the DStv Now app. One day our kids came to us complaining there's an error message "Streaming limit reached" We then discovered Multi-Choice in all of their wisdom reduced the streaming limit from 2 to only one. So for that reason, when the decoder couldnt received any channels anymore, the DStv Now service was basically useless to us. It's just extremely scary that Multi-choice can now just when they feel like it, reinstate the D/O and account.
