SA IDOLS - Yet another reason for RSA Shame
I am a fan of the Idols programs, UK has Talent, USA has talent, The X Factor, The Voice etc.etc. All the good reality shows. If the first round of auditions for SA Idols is anything to go on I will NOT watch more. The judges are cruel and sadistic. The belittle and demean everyone in the worst possible way - even good ones. They seem to think the contest has to revolve around themselves and to use their position to somehow feed their own arrogance and over-inflated egos. The show as it stands is not about the local talent, it is about the 4 fools judging. All four of them seem to lack any human kindness or empathy of anyone that does not fit their own narrow views. Yes - there are many participants who are not good at all. That is part of the process - but why do these lame judges have a sick need to make the contestants feel less than human? I have been involved in the performing arts most of my life - I'm 68. I've never encountered REAL performers who would do. If these are the BEST judges we can find in South Africa then SA Idols is a PIECE OF SHEET! We to have on pay this warped TV station to present tan abomination. MNET/MULTICHOICE/DSTV you are SICK PEOPLE
