RUNNING FROM LEGAL/INSURANCE OBLIGATION

I have been using an SD PVR since 2008/9 up to now and have been insured for the PVR for almost 5 years uninterrupted.

Multichoice decided to upgrade their PVRs ("upgrade", so they say) and contacted people like me to inform them of the discontinuation of such PVRs and that they would cease to perform optimally due to the introduction of new technology (Satellite upgrade).

I was advised to take my device in for a swap to obtain the new Explora as an UPGRADE. I need to highlight these inportant UPGRADE issues:

-My SD PVR device allows me dual and independent functionality on 2 TVs

-My device allows me to connect 2 extra TVs that are dependent on the 2 independent TVs

-This has enabled me to have 4 TVs connected to only 1 box

-Importantly, I have been able to catchup for years on the 2 independent TVs (Before the "Catchup" was the buzzword, I have been having it for years)

**The new UPGRADED HD PVR (EXPLORA) does nto do dual and independent TVs

**Even when I have connected an additional decoder to the second room, I cannot Catchup!

**Even better, even when I have connected another HD PVR to the second room, I cannot still catchup.

***WHERE IS THE UPGRADE IN THIS DEAL???

Now I am requesting for Multichoice to enable me to return to the same comfort I have been enjoying all these years as per what the INSURANCE payments are guarantying me while I am on my SD PVR

I have complained to DCC, sent an email received a response since 19 Jan 2017 and have made calls between that time of more than 4 requesting a response, nobody has returned to me, my complaint is being escallated everytime I call in...

All I want is to be provided and enabled with the stuff to allow me to enjoy my TVs as i am/was able to in to.

Reviewer Update

I have learned that Multichoice believes in "reactive service" towards its subscribers therefore I am going to react in order for you to respond to my complaint.

I logged this complaint since 16 Jan 2017 and received a Case Number on 19 Jan 2017, between 17 Jan to 13 Jan 2017 it has been 25 days although you promised an SLA of 10 working days.

I am going to use the resources at my disposal to get you to respond to me!!!
