Ruined Top Gear!

I've set my Explora to record my favourite show on TV, Top Gear on BBC every Sunday night at 10. So imagine my disgust when last night I watch the recording, only to find that parts of the show had been blatantly cut out to slot in more advertising slots! First a section of Richard Hammond's test of the new MX5 was cut out, then a section of Jeremy's interview with their guest, and we will never know what happened at the end of James May's race because the end was also cut into with more adverts and the program only resumed half way through the credits! I have never seen a TV presenter interrupted mid-sentence to slot in more advertising and the program basically 'dubbed over' while it was clearly still being broadcast elsewhere. I wonder if the BBC are aware of how Multichoice cut into Sunday night's program to make a few more bucks on advertising? Who is responsible for inserting the local advertising slots? is it actually controlled by Multichoice? Whoever it is, they've taken one of the best shows on TV and completely ruined it!
