Rude and disappointing service from a Multichoice customer facing staff.
My disappointing experience with a rude frontline staff. I was at Multichoice on Saturday 4th Oct between 11am/12pm to get a refund on my mother's subscription that was cancelled. I was so unfortunate to be sent to the nonchalant, could care less, rude lady who has no business being a customer facing staff. Firstly she sat slanting in her chair, she didn't even see the need to sit up straight when a customer has just sat down in front of you. Her whole aura was one of "I'm really not in the mood right now". She greeted me with a half not interested 'hi' and proceeded to give me a very poor service and unfriendly and unprofessional service. I was so disappointed in her service. As I left I told her she doesn't know me, and I'm here for assistance, she really needs to try to be nice next time, to which she began to talk back at me rudely, in her attempt to justify her poor service. I requested to speak to the manager so that I can give my feedback which is needed to better improve their service and train their staff. The manager came through - Matshiditso was her name. While I was trying to give the manager my feedback, the staff had become aggressive, forceful and argumentative, talking back at her manager and me...all in the view of other customers. The manager was still trying to get her to calm down and listen to what the customer (I) was saying, It's a pity I didn't get her name but I got the manager's name. Such staff has no business being the face/attitude that represents any company, as she cannot not even control herself and accept her role in the situation. If I were pleased with her service, I would not have felt the need to lay a complaint. Multichoice, please be selective of the people you put in frontline to deal with customers. I think that lady should be taken to back office until she has received training and satisfied fully the requirements to actually deal with customers.
