Robbing pensioners

Good day. I am a pensioner who has dstv compact and the Indian bouquet. I pay my account around the first of every month . This month I payed for the full bouquet and Indian bouquet. This morning my Indian bouquet gets canceled. I called dstv and im now told that i need to pay an additional R265 coz i paid before my payment date. So after paying a R1000 plus i need to pay R 265 coz of pro rata nonsense. So why wasnt i being charged pro rata then or disconnected from the beginning of the year. I now down graded to compact and have to pay R16 in 24hours. Please assist. Dont know how many others this is happening to
